Baked these babies for my friends a few days back... I have baked these chocolate cupcakes 3 times so far and this time round, the cupcakes had a rich taste of chocolate.. YUM YUM. Instead of topping them with butter cream icing, I topped them with vanilla whipped cream. Hmmm, but haha made a mistake by over beating my whipped cream so the icing seems a lil watery. So guess gotta learn from mistakes...

My First Bake
This is my first post. I have always wanted to start this blog and here i go... This easy chocolate cupcake is the first successful bake ever. I've tried baking so many times but it always fails... Not giving up hope, I tried baking this.. hmmmm to my surprise it tasted great. I topped it with chocolate butter icing which i must say that it was very very sweet. To make it look pretty, I decorated it with some MnMs, sprinkles and oreo wafer sticks.
Here's the recipe for:
CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES:
110grams unsalted butter
110grams caster sugar
2 medium eggs
75 grams self-raising flour*
25-30grams cocoa powder*
*sift the flour and cocoa powder
Method:
1.Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
2.Gradually beat in the eggs 1 at a time until fully incoperated.
3.Fold in the self-raising flour and cocoa powder.
4.Scoop the batter into small baking cups.
5. Bake for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
