Marble cake






























I love this marble cake...! Marble cake is actually just 1 portion plain butter cake and 1 portion chocolate cake. The taste of this cake was just nice.. not too sweet and not too dry.

Here's the recipe for:

Chocolate Marble cake:

175grams of unsalted butter
175grams of caster sugar
3 eggs beaten lightly
150grams self-raising flour
25-30grams cocoa powder

Method:

1. Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.
2. Add in eggs little at a time.
3. After it is full incoperated, fold in the flour.
4. Then, spoon half the mixture into a separate mixing bowl.
5. Fold in the cocoa powder into one of the portion.
6. Place spoonfuls of each mixture alternately into the baking tin, then use a skewer to create the marble effect.
7. Bake for 35-40mins at 180 degrees.
