Turnip with prawn filling
How to roll?
Wet the tip and seal the spring roll
The final results! Yummy
Made spring rolls this evening with granny. I made 2 different types of fillings. Minced curry chicken and turnip with prawns. Both flavours were delicious but I liked the turnip with prawns better.
Here's the recipe for:
Minced Curry chicken
500g of minced chicken
1/2 tbsp garlic paste
1/2 tbsp ginger paste
1 onion chopped finely
1 1/2 - 2 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp salt
Method:
1. Add oil to a skillet and fry the onions.
2. When the onions are slightly cooked, add in the garlic and ginger paste.
3. 2 mins later add in the curry powder and stir.
4. When the oil starts separeting from the mixture, add in the minced chicken and salt.
5. Let it cook.
6. After the chicken is cooked, place a small amount on the spring roll wrapper, roll it and fry it.
Here's the recipe for:
Turnip with prawns
1 medium sized turnip (grated)
8-10 prawns(bite size)
2 tbsp garlic chopped finely
1 tsp salt
1. Heat oil and fry garlic till fragrant.
2. Add in prawns, salt and grated turnip.
3. Onced cooked, place a small amount on the spring roll wrapper, roll it and fry it.
